LEARNING TAROT CARDS – FREE ONLINE CLASSES – FREE EBOOK (SUGGESTED DONATION)

TAROTPI
You’re at home, with time on your hands, looking for something interesting to do. Well here’s your chance, to do something you may have always wanted to do, learn how to read Tarot cards.

Some people claim that the Tarot, with its beautiful mystical imagery, unconscious symbolism and imaginative interpretations, tells the story of life itself. Past, Present and Future.

As a self-development tool, the Tarot is perfect. It can help you make life choices, manifest goals, develop visualization techniques, and aide to meditation and just plain fun. YouTube has a huge selection of Tarot themed videos to choose from. After reviewing many of these, I settled on the following set as I felt they best served a beginner. Ben Lucas, the producer, also uses the famous Rider-Waite cards which is the deck most identified with Tarot reading.

ABOUT THE TWO VIDEOS:
“When I decided to explore the Tarot, I got a little frustrated at first. There was a LOT of information that I had to learn. 78 cards!!! I searched all over YouTube, but couldn’t find a good video that just lays out all the cards one by one. I didn’t care how long the video was.
I just wanted to absorb the meanings of the cards and wished that someone had taken the time to lay it all out there and help get me started. Since I couldn’t find the video I wanted, I resorted to reading a TON of websites and books.
This took a lot of time. Countless hours. Then it occurred to me: If I can’t find the video I want, Why not make it… so that others like me will be able to find it later?”

RATING:  5 Charley’s
Good instructions, clear descriptions of each card and what they mean in a general sense. Great that they are free so you can view them over and over again. But in this instance I want to award you, the viewer, 5 Charley’s as well. Charles Fort  would have been thrilled that you have decided to take a step into the unknown. Welcome to the world of Tarot.

The Rider Tarot Deck
By Arthur Edward Waite (Author) Pamela Colman Smith (Artist)
TAROTDBOX
The world’s most popular tarot deck!
This classic deck has long been a favorite of beginners as well as tarot enthusiasts. The cards were drawn in 1909 by Pamela Colman Smith under the direction of Arthur Edward Waite. Smith’s vibrant drawings transformed the standard tarot deck.

“A unique feature of the Rider-Waite deck, and one of the principal reasons for its enduring popularity, is that all of the cards, including the Minor Arcana, depict full scenes with figures and symbols. Prior to the Rider-Waite Tarot, the Pip** cards of almost all tarot decks were marked only with the arrangement of the suit signs — swords, wands, cups, and coins, or pentacles. The pictorial images on all the cards allow interpretations without the need to repeatedly consult explanatory text.
The innovative Minor Arcana, and Pamela Colman Smith’s ability to capture the subtleties of emotion and experience have made the Rider-Waite Tarot a model for the designs of many tarot packs.” — (from The Encyclopedia of Tarot, Volume III) Rider-Waite Tarot was named one of the Top Ten Tarot Decks of All Time by Aeclectic Tarot.

** Pip cards. In playing cards, pips are small symbols on the front side of the cards that determine the suit of the card and its rank. For example, a standard 52-card deck consists of four suits of thirteen cards each: spades, hearts, clubs, and diamonds. Each suit contains three face cards – the jack, queen, and king.
